Twelve-Twelve-Twenty-Twelve
Twelve-Twelve-Twenty-Twelve I received this cover in the mail today from a fellow StampBoards member. The usage was completely commercial as it contained something that the member was sending me and pays the correct rate of $1.20 for an envelope that size and weight. A lovely striking pair of current $0.60 Christmas Stamps, postmarked; Kerrimuir Vic 3129 12 Dec 2012.

Parcel I received with an Olympic Gold Medal stamp
I received a parcel last month with this lovely combination of stamps. Firstly I am impressed that the sender chose to use real stamps and secondly the lovely in period use of the 60c Olympic Gold Medalist Stamp - this one featuring Mathew Belcher and Malcolm Page who received a gold medal for their efforts in the Mens 470 Class Sailing event. This combination pays the correct rate of A$6.60 for a small parcel within the Perth area; sent from Guildford to West Perth.

Thanks for stopping by....
I set up this blog as a place where I can come and discuss my collecting of stamps and other philatelic subjects that interest both myself and hopefully interest you, the reader.
Hopefully this will grow in to a place where we can show Stamps, discuss Stamp Collecting, Postal History & other Philatelic subjects.
I hope that you find my posts somewhat interesting and informative and encourage you to follow my blog, interact and leave comments or ask questions.
